I can't figure out how to turn it off. Both the iPad and the MacBook Air are running the latest version of their respective operating systems. I have not started Music nor desire it to be playing, but somehow that is happening now too. I have noticed now that Music has its own icon in the control center and some sound waves appear in its upper right corner. I can move around easily to my saved game raids on my iPad, but my MacBook screen still displays the Mirroring layout from my iPad Control Center.Eventually some changes begin to appear on the MacBook display, but this may be minutes later. Sound now is lagging my iPad activity on my MaBook Air. Sound begins to come from my MacBook, but it only displays the previously shown control center view of my iPad. Once there, sound works, and I can click off the control center on my iPad, and click onto my game instance in the iPad, and the game moves to the front and fills my iPad screen. Just like it did before the last update, my iPad screen shows up on my MacBook. That method no longer works, because of system updates, and I now have to use the mirroring tab found in the Control Center of the iPad.I double click and select "mirroring" on my iPad, pointing it to display on my MacBook Air. My iPad Air 2 no longer streams to my MacBook Air after updates to MacOS 10.13.3 and iOS 11.2.6 My desire is to resume my ability to mirror my iPad Air 2 screen to my MacBook Air, in order to display and record game raids I have saved on my iPad.This used to work perfectly by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Rather, it continues to be a complete image of my device screen. At other times the projection image does not switch to presentation mode. Sometimes the projection image properly flips into presentation mode where ONLY the current slide is shown. The app and my device screen go into presentation mode as expected. I touch the little icon at the top of screen to go into presentation mode. The projector screen is an exact mirror image of the device screen.Ģ. I open a presentation and its in what i'd call "edit mode". My hunch is there's a glitch in what powerpoint is handing off to Airplay for projection.ġ. I've gone into settings and "reset" the app. I've checked both devices for updates - they are running current versions of iOS as well as the PowerPoint app. When it doesn't work THEN the projector screen is picking up everything shown on my device screen - including battery life and the little "wifi signal strength" indicator, etc. (Things like notes and battery life and all the other things on my iPad screen are hidden). When it works like it is supposed to, THEN the projector ONLY shows the current slide. The problem is that when it open a PowerPoint presentation and touch the little icon at the top of my screen sometimes my projector won't flip into presentation mode - it rather continues to mirror the device screen. I'm not exporting my files to the AppleTV.) I use an iPhone and an iPad. The screen mirror (using airplay and the apple tv) works flawlessly. I have two iOS devices that I use with powerpoint and I project via an Apple TV and Airplay. (I'm only using the Apple TV to facilitate wireless projection.
